The municipality of Paragominas is located in the northeast of Pará, about 320 km from the capital, Belém. Paragominas is a 50 years old city that stands as a model of development for the State of Pará.

Its name is made of the abbreviation of the name of the states of Pará, Goias and Minas Gerais. Immigrants from these 3 states founded the city. In the course of time, with the natural vocation for growth, Paragominas attracted many businessmen and workers from the forestry, agriculture and livestock areas and also immigrants from other states like Espírito Santo, Bahia, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande do Sul and many other places. All these people came to participate in the development of this beloved and hospitable city.

Paragominas is a prosperous city and a wonderful place to live. This is the result of the constant intercession of the Church and its blessing words on this earth.

During the AGROPEC, the Exhibition Park receives a public equivalent to 200 thousand people, thus creating, chances to conquer new customers.
